A note on mandatory reporting.
Kylie is often asked whether she holds registration as a dental practitioner. It is a welcome question and reflects exactly the kind of due diligence organisations should exercise when inviting an external consultant to work alongside their teams.
Registered health practitioners in Australia carry mandatory notification obligations under the National Law. As Kylie is not a registered practitioner, those obligations do not attach to her engagements. Her role is to help you identify and fix what needs fixing, supported by more than a decade of postgraduate study and independent quality and safety leadership across dental organisations in Australia.

How long does an IPC review take?
For a single practice the onsite review usually takes a couple of hours while the practice is operating. The report and action plan are back to you within the week.
Do we work with practices currently under investigation?
Yes. Kylie works with practices that want to get ahead of a possible audit, and with practices that have received findings and need to resolve deficiencies quickly. The work is confidential and practical. It is not legal advice and does not replace your indemnity insurer or lawyer.
